Anuradhapura: eco lodge

The Treehouse was a lovely break from city life however still local enough that in 10 minutes you had shops and restaurants. The treehouse itself was absolutely lovely & we really enjoyed it. Prepare yourself to embrace every part of nature, I know it can’t be avoided due to location and venue however be ready for ants !!!!& don’t forget your bug spray

The pictures do not lie! That is your view during breakfast and arrival juice. The host gladly hooked us up with an amazing private safari. Nipuna the driver for our safari made this one of our favorite stops during this trip. So many lovely memories. Book it now! Stop looking at other places and book this one! You will not be disappointed.

I had a wonderful stay in Dambulla! The home was warm, welcoming, and beautifully kept — a perfect place to relax after exploring the area. What truly made the experience exceptional was the incredibly attentive host, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right. From helpful tips about the area to making sure we were comfortable, their hospitality really stood out. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and a lovely start to the day. The location couldn’t have been better either, just a short and pleasant walk to the famous Dambulla Cave Temple, which made visiting it easy and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dambulla and looking for a comfortable stay with genuine local warmth and care.

Kavin’s place was very good and our stay was very comfortable. They even offered us their kitchen to cook for ourselves. The breakfast provided on last day was local cuisine and was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Dambulla

Upul und seine Frau sind hervorragende Gastgeber und ich habe mich dort von Anfang an sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Upul hat mir sogar einen Fahrservice vom Flughafen zu seinem Haus organisiert. Die Einzelheiten hierzu kamen zwar sehr spät aber es hat super geklappt und der Preis war angemessen. Upul hat sich viel Zeit genommen und mir viele Vorschläge für Unternehmungen gemacht und hat sogar seinen freien Tag geopfert, um mich spontan zu meinen Wunschorten zu bringen. Auch hierfür war der Preis okay. Upuls Frau ist eine sehr gute Köchin und hat mir an einem Abend ein leckeres vegetarisches Gericht zubereitet. Wir sind als Freunde auseinander gegangen und ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Alba and her Partner Manolo were great hosts: always super helpfull, friendly and attentively. They gave us good advice and helped us with organizing trips to Sigiriya, Kaudulla, Dambulla and Pollonaruwa. To visit all this sites Sat Nam Village is the best place to stay! Cause after an exhausting trip you can relax perfectly in the beautiful garden in a hammock under a tree or in the brandnew pool. And don’t forget the fooood! We really enjoyed the rice and curry prepared by one of the lovely ladies who are working on the property! It was delicious. If you need some variation they also offer great Spanish food prepared by Alba herself! We totally enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back and can highly recommend Sat Nam Village for a cultural but at the same time very relaxing stay!
