We had a girls weekend here and it was just perfect. We enjoyed lounging and catching up on the L couch. TV was very easy to use and it had all the apps. We didn’t really cook but had everything we needed for our cheese plate. Also got some yummy takeout at the local breweries. Hot tub and fire pit area were great additions. Would love to come back with my family for a long weekend.

Our stay with Wanda was such a peaceful experience! My family came to stay for graduation and we felt right at home !! I would highly recommend if you want a space that feels like a home away from home! Also dog friendly with a great yard :)

This was an amazing stay/experience. We went for our anniversary and had such a peaceful and relaxing time away from the normal routine and stresses of life. The view was absolutely amazing, whether taking it in from the hot tub or sitting out in the yard. The hot tub and home theater were nice to be able to unwind with and extremely easy to operate. Mary Catherine was a great host and always responsive and helpful. She also had so many thoughtful and wonderful things throughout the home, from a M&M dispenser and popcorn in the theater room to bottled waters/snacks and a basket of toiletries in case anything was forgotten. We can not recommend this house enough and are grateful for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

A beautiful home! Our family had a wonderful time exploring the property, taking in the incredible views, and relaxing by the outdoor firepit and hottub! It had comfortable bedrooms and a well-appointed kitchen. We booked this home based on its proximity to hiking trails, and the location did not disappoint! We also enjoyed the visits to several local breweries and farmers markets.

Our family of seven spent two nights here to have family Thanksgiving, The drive to the house is very beautiful with mountains in the distance. The house was very spacious and clean. The integrity of the farm house itself is very warm, with many of the original floors and woodwork. The game room in the basement is a plus. Morning walks down by the creek give you an opportunity to be connected to nature. Very special visit and most definitely would recommend this charming home to others. Words can hardly do justice to the experience we had at this breathtaking mountain Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in pure serenity. Nestled high above the world, this peaceful haven offers panoramic views, breathtaking sunsets on the front balcony, fragrant lilacs in full bloom and birdsong and the gentle rustling of the trees. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with nature, find stillness, or simply escape into beauty, this mountain retreat is everything you could dream of. The house was immaculate with endless amenities and views out every window.

We have stayed at Glen’s property for the past four years. It is an annual tradition we will maintain for so many reasons: amenities, location, and charm.

I can't say enough good things about the The Empty Nest Cottage! The house itself is gorgeous! If you want to get away this is the place to get away too. I couldn't quite pick a favorite room, maybe the living room with beautiful arching ceilings but then there was the master with its own sitting room connected, or could it be the basement with lots to do for adults and kiddos including the two and one game ping pong/pool table. Don't get me started on the outside! From the pool, to the jacuzzi, and just nature surrounding I can't decide! But best of all the hospitality from Shawna Lynn and James were beyond measure. We enjoyed ourselves so much we asked for another day! Thanks again for such an amazing get away!

Ive stayed at this wonderful home many times so I knew it was a treasure. However, the newest owner Gretchen really made this place even better. Clean, cozy, it has everything you need for a perfect moutain getaway. All the little touches and welcoming treats were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered to make the experience perfect. The location was convenient, and the host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. This property truly exceeded expectations, and I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others. An exceptional Airbnb experience from start to finish!

My husband and I had a fantastic time at the cabin. It was a little tricky to find but once we re-checked the check-in photos and instructions Dee included, we found it right away. The cabin is very clean, and the perfect balance of “rustic” and comfort. We enjoyed climbing the ladder between floors- we felt like kids in a treehouse! The hot tub is well positioned to maximize the view. Everything was perfectly relaxing, quiet, and peaceful. We’d love to come back again and would recommend Dee’s cabin to friends. Unrelated to the cabin, there’s a little stack of local info by the tv on the main floor and after sorting through it looking for dinner recommendations we decided to try Vito’s. It was auh-mazing!
