It was a rainy weekend but we got great recommendations for places to go! Getting rained in by the fireplace wasn't too bad anyway, what a relaxing visit. We will definitely be back!

We have been staying at the Parsonage now for 5 years and it became our favorite place when we visit VA. Anne is a very generous hostess and she continues to upgrade the house and make it even more comfortable! The mountain views are gorgeous anytime of the year! We love her place, the details, the books, the artwork and the view! We hope to be back soon!

Rebecca was an outstanding host. An amazing person and a pleasure to be around. The property and house were exactly what we were looking for during our weekend of history. The horses are amazing to be around and the property is so peaceful. It’s a different feel there. The house was beautiful. Highly recommend

This was an amazing stay/experience. We went for our anniversary and had such a peaceful and relaxing time away from the normal routine and stresses of life. The view was absolutely amazing, whether taking it in from the hot tub or sitting out in the yard. The hot tub and home theater were nice to be able to unwind with and extremely easy to operate. Mary Catherine was a great host and always responsive and helpful. She also had so many thoughtful and wonderful things throughout the home, from a M&M dispenser and popcorn in the theater room to bottled waters/snacks and a basket of toiletries in case anything was forgotten. We can not recommend this house enough and are grateful for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Beautifully decorated and clean organized home. It was just what we needed for our family. The lack of a designated parking space was a new and somewhat uncomfortable experience, but we always found a spot close to the house.

Dwayne‘s home is perfectly curated to our taste. Everything was clean and immaculate. The home is fully stocked for many needs. By the way, there are no TVs in the bedroom if you are one that looks for that. Beds were comfortable. The gated backyard added extra security and allowed our dog to get a bit of zoomies out. Beautiful area, great location to downtown, and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great stay! The hosts were very kind, friendly and responsive. The house was clean, inviting, and as pictured. We appreciated the family friendly accommodations, including colorful plastic children’s dishes (the children were excited to pick their favorite colors), highchair, doorway gate and bunk bed. Labeled cabinets and drawers were helpful to quickly find kitchen items and to put them away in the right place. We all enjoyed the unique dining room table! Very nice and enjoyable place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay, houses were exactly as advertised. Host was extremely responsive over all a great place to rent.

We had a great stay! Jess gave us recommendations of local restaurants to try and nearby hikes. The apartment was spotless and felt very private.

This place was a peaceful retreat for us while we were in Lynchburg for a college tour. It was very thoughtfully decorated. Honestly it felt so inviting that we wanted to extend our stay. We spent our morning coffee time on the porch admiring the river view and watching the bald eagles in their nest. So beautiful! Great place!!!

We had a wonderful time! The area was great and Bobby made us feel right at home! We would definitely come back again and will recommend this to our friends!

On a beautiful, historic street within an easy walk to Rivermont Park! Easy to find parking either on the side in a gravel space or right out front. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, nice backyard area, easy check in, great communication, lots of space. We had a comfortable stay and everything was well thought out!

Nice views, peaceful setting. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Chessie Trail was great for running in the mornings, just a 1/2 mile from the house. We were there for a horse show and did not get to explore the area too much, but certainly seemed like there was plenty of hiking opportunities if we had more time.

This quirky carriage house easily accommodated our group of seven and made for a wonderful get away.

this was one of my favorite airbnbs. The attention to detail was first-rate the bed was very comfortable and the stay was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive to my request for an early check-in which meant a lot to me. if I didn't live a half hour away now I would stay there again.

I stayed in the cabin on the river, I must say it was probably the best few days I’ve ever had. Such a beautiful and peaceful set up, not to mention the farm as a whole was amazing. I will definitely be back!

This place was just great. Pulling up the mountain to the cabin we just weren't ready for just how great the view was. Visiting at the end of April, the cabin is a great space to just feel secure while sleeping. We did everything out doors, and regret nothing. I'd love to come back in the Fall/early winter months to experience the inside a bit more, not that we couldn't have, but the outdoor temperatures were perfect, and there were very few bugs to bother us. Everything inside that we needed was situated well and with intention. We very much enjoyed our stay, definitely one of our top experiences for that off grid, self reliance feel.

The house was great -- comfortable, clean, and attractive. Deborah was very personable and thoughtful. I had mentioned that we were in the area to attend a baby shower and she left a card for the parents-to-be. Very thoughtful!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings on the porch listening to the birds and the cows. Walking through the orchards and feeding the goats and donkey was a great surprise. It was the perfect get away to slow down and enjoy some peace and quiet. The recommendations given were perfect as well. We enjoyed dinner at Vito’s and lunch AND dinner at Woodruff’s Cafe & Pies! We will definitely will return!

The location was convenient, and the host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We cannot say enough great things about the owners and this beautiful cabin!! If you are thinking about booking, think no more and do it! Not only was it absolutely beautiful on the inside but the area outside of the cabin made us feel like we were in our own sweet world. We saw deer, squirrels, so many birds, it was on the river and it was dreamy. The cabin itself was so fun! To stay in a real log cabin was a bucket list item and it was very pristine. There were wonderfully helpful notes all around to help us out and did I mention it was beautiful?!???

Perfect retreat from the city life! Loved petting the horses and watching deer in the evening from the porch!

Liz was super kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive when we had questions. Liz reached out and helped us with cleaning during mid-stay. We appreciated that. The cabin is cozy and remote which was exactly what we were hoping for. Great place to stay. Thanks Liz!
