Altamaha River: hospedarias

Our weekend stay at this island apartment was fantastic. The first thing we did was take a refreshing dip in the clean pool, just steps from our room. The space was private and comfortable, with a pull-out sofa, a futon, a stocked Keurig, a mini fridge, and all the utensils you need. Plenty of hot water was available, perfect after a day of exploring. The private driveway made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. Renting a golf cart was easy, with delivery and pickup right at the residence. We were just a 10-minute golf cart ride from East Beach and Gould’s Inlet, ideal for catching the sunrise or fishing. There’s a gas station three blocks away for any late-night needs. The property was quiet, and the owner, who also manages the place, was very nice. My 4-year-old son and I had a great weekend—we’ll definitely be back!

Perfect, quiet place with a nice little view of the marsh. The space was very cozy and comfortable. The wife and I enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of wildlife, beaches, and great food close by.

Mary was an excellent host and the listing was just as described. Excellent location. Will consider again for future trips!

My husband and I loved our stay! It’s always a bonus when a place is pet-friendly because we love to bring our fur baby with us when we travel. The location is great - right across the street from Clary’s and very walkable to everything in town! The only thing to note, which we figured when we booked, is that the stairs may be tough for some (dogs included). They’re steep and we had to carry our big 65 pound baby down every morning. Not a negative by any means, just something to be aware of! We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Rose & Stacie, are fantastic AirB&B hosts. The Carriage House on 1200 Union was better than advertised. Clean, comfy, peaceful, and excellent proximity to beautiful Old Town Brunswick. The downtown shopping & Yellow Deli were a few blocks from the house. Proximity to the school and churches also made things feel very safe. Thank you for allowing me to stay at your wonderful property during the holidays. I'll be back again when I come to Brunswick to visit my family. Sincerely, Sean

This place was a dream! The pictures don’t do it justice! We have almost a 360° view of the waterway and when I say we saw dolphins less than 50 yards from our patio every single day, I am not exaggerating. It was quiet and peaceful. You can see the sunrise and set from your bed. We will be back for sure and I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Georgia

We stayed at the music cottage for 20 days. It was relaxing and comfortable. It was a very quiet area and my husband was impressed with the gym on site. Our host was always responsive and very friendly. If you ever need somewhere in Hinesville to stay definitely check out Happy Acres. There is a lot of kittens and cats around the grounds and they are fun to watch play outside with their moms. We would definitely book again if needed. Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed our stay in this old carriage house. The space was quaint, private and had a nice little patio area. The location could not have been any closer to everything we wanted to do. It was perfect for my wife and I and I would recommend it to anyone who can climb the stairs. Thumbs up!

What an amazing place for a girls' retreat! The Shed is so cozy, but was roomy enough for two of us to move around. My friend said the bed was so comfy and I thought the sofa-bed was very comfy too! The amenities were great! We loved sitting outside at dusk watching the birds come in to roost, then were surprised in the mornings by the birds still in the trees. Close to everything in St. Mary's. We are already talking about visiting again soon! Thank you Donald for your hospitality!

Krazie's property is exactly what my family desired; peaceful and within a short distance of the relatives we were visiting. The property itself was very neat. She has a large selection of games if you choose to stay indoors, and televisions at the ready if that is how you choose to entertain yourself. I really appreciated her desire to maintain contact with me if I needed to bring anything to her attention and/or ask a question that was pertinent to our stay. Don't let the bias against staying in trailers dissuade you. It was quite comfy. Will use her property again if it is available to us.

Absolutely loved our stay! The bungalow was super nice, very clean, and felt incredibly private. I’ve always been hesitant to rent a guest house because of privacy concerns, but this experience totally changed my mind. Everything was perfect, and Sam was so friendly and welcoming. The area is gorgeous, the pool is a great bonus, and there are tons of restaurants and shops within 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

Very cute, cozy and overall very clean. The only issue I had was with the glass shower doors, I have them at home and squeegee every day. These either need to be cleaned or replaced. Everything else was great!

Wonderful host and an incredible place to stay! The home was clean and very tranquil. Just down the road is the Harris Neck Wildlife Preserve, well worth the visit! We would recommend this place to everyone! You get the feeling of a quiet cabin in nature while also having a fully equipped modern home. The little office nook is great too if you need to get some work done.

Extremely nice and very clean home! Pictures do no justice. Location was walking distance from several eateries, Forsyth Park, and Krogers. Easiest check out in existence. The host was super nice and responsive. I had thought I had left a favorite ball cap in the house and Irene allowed me to return later in the day after checkout to look for it. Can’t wait to come back for another stay!

Warning: Expect to be swept off your feet. Moving forward, Kim & Ariel's hospitality is going to be incredibly hard to match. Hosting at it's finest. There was no detail overlooked by these two. They are Super kind, attentive, easy-going, generous, respectful, considerate and fun. They've been in the area a long time so their To-Do recommendations were on point. I recommend their recommendations. And If that isn't enough to induce heart bubbles, there are amenities galore to add to either the fun or to your relaxation. The Humble abode is loaded with goodies and comfort. It was very clean, well-kept, very well organized and stocked with a Keurig and toaster. Everything was functional: stove, microwave, HVAC, ceiling fans, tv, lights, remotes, fridge, toilets, showers,WIFI. Everything. There were two additional inflatable mattresses available if needed. Only stayed one night as I was on a business trip but wanted to see a nearby local national park. Large space above their garage, comfortable bed & other furniture. Nice table so I could do some work on my laptop before checking out. I needed an extra hour past typical checkout for a business activity and Jacklyn was very accommodating about this. I would stay here again in heartbeat! So much good about this place; only picky item I would note is the TV left me rather confused. I could not get any channels but maybe because I do not have any streaming accounts myself? But I did get to bed early that night which I usually cannot do at home with my family-ha.

Great location near Bluffton, was in town for a wedding and the rates were way better than in town lodging. Very nice studio with everything we needed.

Clara's place is just as it looks and as it is described. Parking is very easy. Close to coffee shop, restaurants and Forsyth park. Plus you can walk or drive to the historic and tourist areas. Everything was perfect!

Loved our stay! Comfortable, clean and beautiful place in a great location! Would definitely stay again when in Savannah!
