Slow down at our cozy 3 BR-2 Bath lake home, tucked back in the woods with a quiet view of the cove. Lots of deck space to relax and enjoy nature. If you are feeling more adventurous; Paddle on the lake, play cornhole, or hike on our private trails. And speaking of hiking, we said “take a hike” to cleaning fees (who likes those?), And check-in/checkout times; ours are so flexible they practically do yoga. Stress-free? Absolutely. Follow a long gravel driveway before you can view this comfortable house in the country. This house is 12 easy miles from the Town of Farmville and all it has to offer. Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College is near by. Visit High Bridge State Park for hiking and Greenfront is a shopping destination. Lots of dining options will appeal to every taste and plenty of other activities to enjoy in this area. There is no phone-internet or satellite at The Hide-A-Way, Cell phones do work.

Stay connected with WiFi, or just cozy up with a book or a game. Wildlife abounds on this woodland plant farm. Approximately 15 minutes from downtown Blackstone and Ft. Pickett, this is the perfect place to get away!

Enjoy family time at the lake and relax in this peaceful cottage that is walking distance to the community beach with a sand volleyball court, basketball court, picnic and playground area. If you have a boat bring it. You will have access to the beach boat ramp. The home has 3 Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you love golf , no problem..the property is part of a country club with a 9 hole golf course (daily fees apply). If you like tennis, tennis courts are also available for a daily fee.

This house is surrounded by growth. High trees provide shade while grilling out and the wooded lot gives a feeling of being somewhere much more remote. There are exactly seventy stairs to the water. The dock provides a great place to relax and eat and drink. The water off the dock is 7ft deep, so jump right in. It is possible to tie a boat up to the outside of the dock so feel free to bring your own or rent one from the nearby Marina.
