We had a great stay! It was exactly as described, everything we needed was there and the surroundings were beautiful. We walked over to the brewery one night and it was a quick drive to some gorgeous vineyards and not too far to town. The best of both worlds.

My daughter‘s wedding was at the tent at Eastwood so we rented the cottage. It was perfect for getting ready! Really cute little place!

We loved our stay at this cabin! It offered total privacy, making it feel like our own little hideaway in nature. The surroundings were stunning—peaceful woods, fresh air, and gorgeous views all around. Inside, the cabin was cozy and thoughtfully furnished for comfort. We enjoyed walking down to see the waterfall on the lower field. The a/c was refreshing for what turned out to be a summer-like Easter. A perfect escape for a long weekend!

I had a wonderful stay. Ruthann’s place was beautiful both inside and out. The room was spacious, spotless, and full of light, perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, great water pressure in the shower. I especially loved the raised nook beside the bed; it was a lovely place to begin the day, reading by the morning light and listening to the birds. The private patio is peaceful, a well-shaded garden with comfortable furnishings; you can spend all day out there. Ruthann is just lovely. Her instructions for parking and accessing the space were clear, and she was very responsive and checked in with me each day. It was great to chat. I felt very welcome. I appreciated all the little touches, from snacks and water to the collection of DVDs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and hope to stay again!

Patricia is super nice, place was wonderful for our little kids. Checking on the chickens in the morning was a fantastic way to start the day. BEAUTIFUL fairy walk on site, would come back just for that besides the beautiful view, and fantastic host.

Jonathan and Sibylle were great hosts! They were so attentive to anything we may need. They have a beautiful property making for a perfect weekend getaway! The space was very well kept. Everything was so appreciated!

We loved our stay. The property is private and cozy and beautiful. Close to town but still out enough to feel removed. Patty was so friendly and responsive. Only wish we would have had more time!

My kids and I loved this homestead retreat in a beautiful and unique natural setting. The host family was very welcoming, and the farm animals made this a fun escape from city life. The room is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and every amenity you might need is covered thoughtfully.

Trish’s place provided the perfect home base for our weekend in Charlottesville. The property is located within 15 minutes of downtown, UVA grounds, and a ton of Cville’s best wineries. We woke up to locally sourced coffee and beautiful views each morning. The studio was exactly as described and very clean upon arrival. Trish was very responsive but also respected our privacy during our stay. Highly recommend for a couple — or consider renting both of Trish’s units out if you have two couples like we did!

Out of my many years of AirBnb’ing this was one of my favorites. The farm and surrounding area was singing with the beauty of spring. The space was very thoughtfully decorated with a modern touch. It is connected to the main house but has a separate rear entrance with a deck looking out at the field so feels very private. Watching the sun go down from the Adirondack chairs on the porch was the highlight. Molly and her family were super welcoming and we got to see a bit of their farm (and purchase some amazing honey and chicken). Rare gem!

WOW! This cabin in the clouds was truly a peaceful place. The house and decor are immaculate, and the host truly thought of everything you might need. She was not kidding about the driveway being steep and wind-y but we all made it up with our sedans and enjoyed the mountain air and views for a perfect girls getaway. The house has so much character and such a nice experience.

Our stay at Jeanne’s house was wonderful. The house was clean and comfortable. The big back yard was great for our 2 dogs. The house is in a vey rural area but not too far away from restaurants. Charlottesville is only 20-30 minutes away and breweries and wineries 15 minutes away. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful and peaceful location for gathering with family for a long weekend. The cottages were very nice. We will be back!

Our stay at Bloomingdale was wonderful! You could feel the history of the house. It was well appointed with a beautiful kitchen looking over the fields and an open living and dining room. There was also a large den and another parlor on the main level for get away spaces. Upstairs beds were comfortable and bathrooms were plentiful. We had a great stay and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunflower Cottage, Joan and Sean were excellent hosts, very responsive and they made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was great for our family, including our 2 dogs that enjoyed the fenced backyard. The beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, the place was clean and really comfy. We enjoyed making a fire, walking around the beautiful farm with our dogs, the amazing products we got from the market (ground beef, sauerkraut, salsa, eggs) and the AMAZING bread they gifted us. We highly recommend the Sunflower cottage and hope to be back!

David is amazing and love this hidden gem. If you are looking for the ultimate Air B&B place to stay I would say this is it! We appreciate David & his hospitality!

Adorable space just perfect for a weekend stay. We were in town for a concert at ting pavilion and it was about 20 minute drive to downtown area which is where we spent most of our time exploring places to eat and night life. The space was VERY clean and Bianca is an exceptional host who communicates well and added wonderful touches like wine and some breakfast foods. Great value and I would definitely stay again!

We've stayed at Rosyln Farm before and just love it there. This space is great, spacious, fun, comfy, and the hot tub was a bonus. Check in couldnt have been easier, and Sue is a quick communicator and a delight. We will be back again, no doubt.

Moonfire Farm was a lovely stopover for me and a few friends. There were many thoughtful amenities and the animals were so fun. Comfortable beds, and the bathroom was clean and well outfitted. We had a great time and would absolutely consider another stay!

This was our second time at Fauna Haven, and it remains an absolute delight! The guest house is quaint and spotless, and the animals are all a joy to be around. The property is only 30-45 minutes away from both Shenandoah National Park and Charlottesville, so both are only a short drive away if you want to hike or spend some time in a small city. But I would certainly recommend spending a lot of time with all the animals as well! Adam & Joy are excellent hosts and maintain a gorgeous property. I HIGHLY recommend a stay here if you would like a relaxing trip.

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Cynthia’s property was so tranquil just like its name, Tranquility. The house was adorable and had everything you would need to stay comfortably. Very clean! Decorated with style a very eclectic decor. We loved the roaming chickens, the sweet dogs (3) and the horses (3). Cynthia was kind, funny, polite and all around just real and sweet! I feel like I have a new friend and a new place to visit for years to come. I couldn’t be happier with my choice for a sister getaway to celebrate my sister’s 50th!
