Highly recommended place! We stayed for 3 nights with my wife and 3 teenage kids. For all of us is was the first time in LA, so this place was the perfect location: close to LAX, close to the beach, close to a number of cosy and tasty restaurants. We appreciated the cleanliness, clear communication and the amenities provided. The garage was a plus! The beds are comfy, but if you are a light sleeper make sure to bring earplugs as you do the planes from LAX. Thank you for letting us stay in your place!

A hidden GEM! Sweetest hosts, gorgeous garden filled with hummingbirds, doves, squirrels, & butterflies. Bed was super comfortable & large, living room is so cute! So many thoughtful details, candles, lovely smelling soaps, teas, extra blankets. Affordable, central to everywhere you wanna be. Can’t wait to come back & stay again! 😍😍😍

SPEECHLESS! I surprised my amazing girlfriend with a valentines day weekend getaway and found this hidden gem! From the communication to the stay, everything in between was immaculate. Michael and his wife could not have made us feel more welcomed. The love and care they show as hosts is reflected on how beautiful and welcoming the property/stay is. I cannot wait to come back and have another amazing weekend getaway with my gf. 100 out of 10! Thank you again for such a great experience!

Wir sind sehr dankbar dass wir die Zeit in der Hummingbird Retreat verbringen durften. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unser Kinder wollten gar nicht weg, sie möchten Karen sehr gerne....die auch wirklich ein sehr netter Mensch ist. ich finde die Unterkunft in wirklich noch viel schöner und größer als auf den Bildern, Topangas Flair hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen... wir würden gerne irgendwann wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

Everything was great and the lady that owns the place was so nice that she liked my friend’s hairstyle. Great location. Only issues noted is that the doors need to be fixed as only one bathroom can be locked. Also, there was this one time where the door was locked and we couldn’t get in and had to contact them. Overall, worth it.

The location is very private. The home has character and style. Really welcoming. The scenery is picture perfect. When the evening came, the clouds came in real heavy. It became like a mountain high excursion sleeping in the yurt. We literally slept in the clouds that night. It was very peaceful, romantic, and sets your mood into relaxation. Your tension and stress level automatically drop when you walk in the lovable home. It was a pleasure to staying at Lynne’s.

Great stay! Very walkable—access to tons of restaurants nearby but your street is still quiet.

I had the most lovely stay for a week while acclimating to a new job in the area. Daniel was very responsive, and the self-check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. I would stay here again.
