Wonderful place, unique accomodation. Spacious tent, well equipped with everything one needs. We enjoyed a walk through the bush every day past various game. Close to Addo National Park, nice views and a very friendly informative host. Thanks Rob!!

The place is beautiful and perfect if you are looking for a relaxing environment. The TP areas are comfortable and immersed in nature. Would love to go back for walks in the hills surrounding the camp.

Rob war ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, hat alles gut erklärt und gute Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben. Jedes Tipi verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und Außendusche. Im privaten Park leben drei Giraffen, Vogelsträuße und einige Antilopen. Der Addo Elefant Park ist gut zu erreichen und man kann sogar einige Tiere direkt gegenüber beobachten wenn man glück hat.

What a cool place to be! We loved staying in the tipi, sitting around the fire at night, spotting giraffe on the property - only thing missing was sunny weather, but that didn’t take away from our time at the bush camp. Rob is a great host and quickly responds to any questions. Highly recommend a stay in one of his tipis!

We stayed in the Tipi tent, would really recommend it. Its like glamping with a view and the ambience with the lights at night is amazing. The location is right in the middle of the waterval Boven escarpment with hikes on the the edge of the cliffs, throught forrest and rivers. The area is also surrounded with Mtb trails. Would definitely recommend Ligwaan for a getaway in Nature and amazing surroundings. P. S the host are really amazing people and if you are lucky you will also get a home baked sour dough bread 😊

Sitting in the Butterfly Valley, one can truly experience a sense of comfort and ease. After 5 p.m. when the day-trippers depart, the beach seems to belong entirely to you, offering an unparalleled tranquility. You can find a quiet spot anywhere in the valley to patiently await the sunset. As the sun slowly sets, don't rush; you'll be rewarded with the sight of even more breathtaking twilight hues. I highly recommend the secluded corner by the cliff. It's a little gem where you can enjoy doing anything at your leisure. Whether it's working, daydreaming, or simply lying down, this spot offers the perfect backdrop. You can gaze at the mesmerizing view of the water shimmering in the afternoon, and during sunset, it's bathed in a warm, orange glow. It's truly a sight to behold, and the photos you'll capture here are stunning. This has become my private little corner.

Sehr schönes, geräumiges Tipi mit Kühlschrank, Stromanschluss und zwei Ventilatoren. Netter Camping Platz mit familiärer Atmosphäre, lustigen Festen beim Pool-Restaurant. Camping-Leben, ohne Zelt mitschleppen zu müssen. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Strände ganz in der Nähe, für die Stadt Chania nimmt man ein Fahrrad oder den Bus, oder man macht einen etwas längeren Spaziergang. Toll!

The family are lovely. The area is beautiful, and quiet. There are goats, chickens and donkeys. Great if you love animals. They grow their own fruit and the place is an oasis for all different types of fauna, in the mornings there are fresh eggs from the hens and fresh fruit, which you can prepare in the shared kitchen. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked well stocked. The bathrooms are clean, two showers available. The beds are clean, everything is lovely. Would highly recommend as a place to stay. Far surpasses the hotels if you’re keen for an adventure, or just a relaxing holiday.

Wir können nicht in Worte fassen, wie sehr wir den Aufenthalt im Tipi genossen haben. Die Liebe, die in diesen Ort gesteckt wurde, ist überall zu spüren. Man fühlt sich wortwörtlich wie im Paradies. Die bunten außergewöhnlichen Blumen und Früchte wie Orangen, Zitronen und Pitanga-Früchte, freilaufende Pfauen, Sonnenuntergänge, nachts das Meeresrauschen, das gemütlich warme Tipi mit Lichterkette an der Decke, als Gastgeschenk Eier der eigenen Hühner und selbstgemachte Bananenmarmelade, abends ein Mojito mit frischer Minze aus dem Garten, die man überall so intensiv riecht - es gibt so viele Details und an jeder Ecke etwas Neues zu entdecken. Es war sicherlich eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in denen wir je gewesen sind. Vielen Dank für dieses Erlebnis - wir werden die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Das Buschcamp hat genau das gehalten was es auch versprochen hat. Ein Wildnis - feeling und dennoch alles was man benötigt um sich gänzlich wohl zu fühlen.

Stunning idyllic place. We were super lucky to get a beach front tent that provided spectacular sunset views and straight access to the gorgeous Butterfly Valley Beach. The meals that were included in the extra €20 was well worth it. The butterfly Valley is a relaxing and peaceful spot, it’s just a shame that gets broken temporarily when the busy party boats visit. But all in all we feel honoured and blessed that we have been able to stay a night in this beautiful spot. Many thanks for making it a truly memorable experience.

Alexandria and Pierre are wonderful hosts. The place is a beautiful adventure and escape from the city. We especially enjoyed the fire place in the teepee and how easy it was to navigate everything, especially as a small family with our 3year old. The mushroom foraging journey with Pierre was a stand out experience on its own. Can't wait to be back with friends and family. Highly recommend!
