Large supermarkets are in Whitianga, but good for the essentials or an ice cream :-)

Great for basics, milk-bread-paper, frozen foods, but not fresh meat or fish. To get supplies you need to stop in the town of Tairua where there is a grocery store and a good butcher shop next to it.
