Ok, so now this place is nationally know as one of the best (if not the best) local, independent bookstore (with a great coffee shop upstairs). This place is not to be missed.

Unique bookstore featured on NBC news, which offers customers a typewriter to use to write notes or letters. Great selection of books (25,000!) and also a coffeeshop. Located in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor (about 25-30 minutes away). They also host events. Literati has four book clubs - eco book club, feminist book club, the regular Literati book club and the poetry book club. There are partnerships with other businesses and nonprofits like writing center 826michigan.
