The Wall once ran here: Today the Mauerpark is a beautiful place where everyone can come together and where you can also go jogging. The eastern part with the hill is great for sunsets. There is a lot going on at the weekend and quieter during the week. Our tip: take a look at the northern part, which has been very nicely redesigned!

This park is big and is a local favorite to hang-out & have a beer/bbq! It has nice patches of grass, swings & sand amidst the birch trees & a concrete loop for Skateboard & roller amateurs. It has multiple facets, some area's are quieter, others booming with music & life --> don't miss the Sunday flea market, one of the best in town.

This park fills a space where the Berlin Wall once ran. On Sundays, visitors overrun the space for the most popular flea market in the city. Walk along a remnant of the Berlin Wall constantly being re-worked in new graffiti or test out your rock star skills for Bearpit Karaoke.. ( 15 min from the home by walk)

The park has a famous flea market every Sunday, lots of arts and crafts and interesting finds from times gone by. When the weather is nice there is a open-air karaoke going on in the theater of the park with impressive singers (at times) performing for free for the audience

This is the biggest flea market in Berlin and it is close to what is left of the Berlin Wall. Even if commerce is taking over part of its soul, Mauerpark still represents what for many locals Berlin means: frugal living and laid back attitude. On weekend days, you will be able to eat street food, picnicking and assist to a number of street artists.
