Traditional hotel with established reputation. Lovely courtyard in summer for lunch, though you can’t book. Tie lunch here in with a visit to Burghley House and shopping in Stamford. 40 min drive from us.

The food is first class with beautiful surrounds in this 200 year old pub. The gardens are a particular feature.

Fine dining and lovely fireside afternoon tea. Great hotel bar for an evening drink after dinner in Stamford.

Very expensive, but worth every penny! The courtyard garden is great in the summer and they have a wonderful restaurant for them cold, chilly evenings in Winter. Great service and quality of food is excellent.
