A picturesque estate featuring a French chateau-style mansion built in 1886 and landscaped lawns. Formal home of Gifford Pinchot, first Chief of the US Forest Service. Scenic drive with many possibilities for additional stops on the way - would make perfect full day trip. 1 hour drive

Grey Towers, located in Milford, Pennsylvania, was originally the summer estate of the James Pinchot family and later the primary home of Gifford Pinchot, America’s first forester and founder of the USDA Forest Service. Events happen all year long in addition to mansion and ground tours.
