Like many seaside towns, Great Yarmouth is famous for rich maritime and fishing history. Wander through a Victorian'row'and see inside a fisherman's home. A great family day out.
Superb to visit and take a step back in time to see what it was like when Yarmouth was a thriving fishing town
Time and Tide occupies the premises of the Tower Fish Curing Works, originally built c.1850 and enlarged in 1880. The works closed in 1988. The museum tells the story of Great Yarmouth and its herring industry and the lingering aroma of the smokehouse remains today.
There are endless amusements, crazy golf and things to do in Great Yarmouth. Don't miss our favourite museum in the area - very interactive with a great little on site cafe
