Where the famous concert took place in 1969, Woodstock is still very much hippie at its heart. Peppered with little book stores and art galleries, don’t miss the candle shop. The locals are very friendly. Upstate charm all around. About 2h by car
Who doesn't know Woodstock?! Eclectic, fun, artsy, our absolute favorite Upstate/Catskills town. Streets are dotted with local stores, amazing restaurants, art galleries, yoga places. Must visit when Upstate!
Woodstock is a beautiful town in the Catskills Mountains. This town has all the small time charming factors. Cute stores, music, great food, and old hippies!!.
Explore the hippy town of Woodstock for the day. It's a bit of a drive so you would need to be a big fan, but fun none the less. We recommend New Paltz for this same vibe and hiking along with it, but Woodstock is a bit farther so we give it a close second.
Great place to visit. They have a wonderful flea market every weekend, and it's fun to walk along the main street and people watch, pop in the funky boutiques, etc. Lots of great restaurants along the way, including Oriole 9, Garden Cafe, Bread Alone, etc. Stop by The Mud Club for bagels and coffee.
