Por que os moradores locais recomendam?
Housed in a former Nabisco box printing factory on the banks of the Hudson, the museum was designed with the help of artist Robert Irwin. Its collection of minimalist and land art includes exemplary works by Richard Serra, Walter de Maria, Louise Bourgeois, Gerhard Richter, and Donald Judd. Ask the gallery attendants—nicely!—to open the gate so you can walk right up to Heizer’s sculptures and see their scale. This works best on the weekends.

Art Museum Dia Art Foundation is a contemporary arts organization with locations in Beacon, New York, and the American West.
Seriously one of the best contemporary art museums. Huge installations, and they only use natural light. Also a great café and nice grounds to walk around.
In 2003, a 300,000-square-foot former Nabisco box factory on Beacon’s waterfront was converted into this cutting-edge contemporary art museum. Fantastic Art Collection. If you have a strong interest in Contemporary Art- this is a MUST. As good as any NYC museums. 45 minutes drive from Kingston.
