It's like the SOHO of Portland - great shopping and be sure to visit "Made in Portland" and Powell's Books. My favorite women's clothing store is Garnish - all handmade beautiful designer clothes!
The Pearl District is Portland’s more upscale downtown with food, bars, breweries, and shops. This is where you will find Powell’s Books on 10th and Burnside. From there head up the alphabet in street names and stay working 10th to 14th to see the Pearl area.
A fun old warehouse district with boutique shops and lots of bars and restaurants.

Museu de Arte
“Portland may not be the art mecca as cities like New York or Chicago are, but it does have a modestly sized museum that offers some classic and contemporary art pieces, as well as local and Native American art. It’s actually one of the oldest museums in the country and it’s worth the trip for any art lover. Tickets are $20 for adults, and free for kids under 17, making it a great place to visit for families.”
