“Take the streetcar to visit the beautiful grand oak trees in City Park! You can visit the botanical and sculpture gardens and then enjoy some beignets at Cafe du Monde. Getting beignets here is a lot less stressful than in the French Quarter but you do have to go up to the counter to order. City Park is a popular destination for photographers. Consider snapping photos for an hour to commemorate a special birthday or anniversary. We have recommendations for photographers upon request. ”

The exhibits are like no others that you have ever seen. You can go online to purchase your tickets in advance to save the wait in line, www.nationalww2museum.org”

“Just a great museum! If you happen to be so lucky to be staying on a Thursday evening, the Ogden hosts the "Ogden After Hours" which runs from 6-8pm it features live music and a few cocktail bars. Enjoy the Art, Music and have a drink as you explore the museum. Great views of the city from the roof top veranda. Very Fun!!!!”

“Fine yet unpretentious French bistro. Fancy without being stuffy. You'll see people dressed up and people in t-shirts. It's all good here. Perfect location just off Esplanade avenue. Very cozy. A great people watching spot.”
