Guests have recommended the Brookside to us. It's a traditional pub showing sports and offering, what I hear is, good pub food (booking recommended) (3 minutes' walk from Westwood)

A family run pub, serving freshly prepared, home cooked food. Great wine list as well as cask ales and keg beers. Very friendly staff.

The Brookside is in the village but off the beaten track so popular with locals. Recommended if your looking for a “local” drink. Brookside, Lake Rd, Windermere LA23 2BX
