Gorleston hosts a beautiful, award-winning beach, with golden sand and wonderful, scenic walks. You will also find a host of shops, where you can purchase gifts, play in the arcades, or enjoy traditional fish and chips by the sea.

A lovely Sandy beach just 30 minutes drive from the vine house. JJ’s Café on the promenade serves great fish and chips. There is an amusement arcade too!

Gorleston-on-Sea is 2-3 minutes’ drive from the property and there is ample free parking on the cliff tops. Gorleston has its own huge bay and riverside and a stunning sandy beach stretching into the distance below cliff gardens and a grand promenade. The glorious beach is a firm favourite with locals and visitors for lazy days in the sun, it's also one of the best destinations in the Great Yarmouth area if windsurfing, surfing or body-boarding is your preferred seaside activity. Visitors to the seaside at Gorleston-on-Sea can enjoy a yacht pond, a splashpad, green cliffs, beautiful lawns, bowling greens, tennis courts and a trim-trail on the cliff top where views of the beach, harbour, pier and wind turbines can be seen. Behind the promenade, beachside cafes and shops sell a wide selection of goods from multi-coloured buckets and spades to trendy sunshades and beach wear.

We love this stretch of beach as the sand is beautifully maintained. Gorleston does not get as busy as Lowestoft (Just up the road) as there are not as many restaurants or amusements, which makes it a lot more peaceful during the summer months!

Gorleston beach is brilliant , just so lovely for even just walking along. I would imagine hopton is lovely, but only just moved here and finding my way around
