Pretty much the geographic center of the city, and one of the highest peaks in all of San Francisco. A lot of people drive up here for the view, but to truly appreciate it, run. Start on Market Street in the Castro and head west on 17th Street. Turn left on Clayton Street, and follow it to Twin Peaks Boulevard; take that to the top. It’s a killer workout, three hilly miles, but the views from the top are amazing.

A grassy 64-acre hilltop park is a popular attraction, with its hiking trails leading up to wind-swept peaks and 360-degree views of the Bay Area. The triple-pronged Sutro Tower antenna that soars over the neighborhood is a fixture in the skyline.
Head out the front door and take a nice hike up Twin Peaks for great views of the city!
Enjoy amazing views of SF in all directions. If you're driving, make sure to check whether the roads are open!
Great view of San Francisco up here. Wear layers and good walking shoes. It can get windy up here. Hike the short steep peak and you will feel on top of the world! (Important!! Hide luggage, backpacks and all valuables from view or don’t leave in car at all! Thieves watch for tourists to leave their cars, and then hit!!)
