Local artisans from all over Ecuador selling their handicrafts. There's a stand with "helado de paila" the typical Ecuadorian ice-cream handmade in huge copper pots (pailas)

If you can´t get to Otavalo markets this is a great alternative selling traditional Ecuadorian products. Make sure to bargain to get the best price possible.

If you were interested in shopping local Ecuadorian knickknacks, blankets, decor, souvenirs, etc. we recommend the "Mercado Artesenal" It is a short taxi cab from the estate. Walk to the front of the Basilica church to grab a cab and you’ll be there shortly. Bring cash and have fun!
