This is a pub in a converted cinema. It’s beautiful inside, but prices of food and drink are reasonable as it’s part of a chain.

Yes it is a Weatherspoons, but it is a very nice Weatherspoons.

Wetherspoons is a UK national family friendly franchise which offers bar food and drink at budget prices and value for money to its customers. There are a few Wetherspoons in Edinburgh but the Caley Picture House is the latest. Bar menus are cheap and cheerful and although not nouveau cuisine, calorie indicators against each dish on the menu will remind you of the healthier options (if you care...) Note Fish Friday when a special price for fish and chips with free drink is usually on offer.

Huge alcohol/beer list, cheap and cheerful food in an amazing historical venue. When you walk in, head up the stairs and look up.. you won’t be disappointed.
