“Do you love Game of Thrones and want to walk through a real medieval style fortress castle? You can buy tickets for a walking tour through the castle located in the middle of Meersburg. You can do this while you are visiting the city of Meersburg. Great for everyone, including families! Small Tip: There are 2 "castles" in Meersburg, the Old medieval style fortress castle (this one, called "Alte Burg") and the "New" pink castle (called "Schloss Meersburg"), just so you're not confused. They are a few minutes walking distance from each other so you can visit both of them. The Alte Burg is more interesting in our opinion but you should definitely see both of them. Don't worry about parking or driving- you can use your Echt Bodensee Card and take the bus for free to get to Meersburg from Sipplingen.”

“Want to Relax? You can do it here. They offer spa areas, saunas and pools for an affordable price. Great for everyone, including families! The Überlingen Therme is closer and easier to get to Sipplingen, but if you've already been there and want to try out another Therme location, definitely check this out. Only ca. 15 minutes drive from Sipplingen. Locals have their own opinions about which spa is better- in Überlingen or Meersburg... if you have time to visit both then you can decide for yourself! Small Tip: You can of course drive here or you can use your free Echt Bodensee Card for a free ride on the bus to Meersburg. You can also pair going here with visiting the city of Meersburg as this would make a nice, relaxing end to a day of sightseeing around Meersburg.”

“The famous Zeppelin Museum is not far from the guest house. It is located in Friedrichshafen and you can visit the city while you are there as it is right along the lake. You can even schedule to take a ride on a real Zeppelin with views of the entire Bodensee and Swiss Alps! Small Tip: You can use your Echt Bodensee Card that you get for free with the Sipplingen Kurtaxe to take the train to Friedrichshafen so you don't have to worry about parking. You can also pair this together with a day in Friedrichshafen.”
