This is the original LEGOLAND theme park and it opened for the first time in Billund in 1968 as an outdoor show with LEGO houses, landscapes, trains and ships. It has now more than 50 rides and amusements. (83 km)

“Originally an papirmill dating back to 1732. Later a textile factory. Current buildings from 1918 turned into a museum. Outside a water experimental park and close to Vejle river. Great for kids!”

“The Lego House is an amazing experience for both children and adults! A great mixture of a museum describing the Lego history and one big playground. You can buy access online or at the entrance, but even without buying a ticket you can visit the big aula, a big Lego store, or walk across the building via the outside stair cases. It also contains a nice family restaurant where you “build” your own menu and have your food served by Lego robots. A must see!! ”
