Museum Rotterdam is about the city and its people. It presents Rotterdam as it was, is, and will be. Since 2016, Museum Rotterdam’s home has been the Timmerhuis, a spectacular transparent cloud of glass designed by Rem Koolhaas just behind City Hall. Three exhibitions tell the story of the city in the pieces of the Museum collection as well as the words of the city’s own people.
