Overlooks South Sands and only decent wifi around for the kids. Adults enjoy drinks on the veranda while kids play on beach and have hot chocolate / ice cream from old life boat café next door

A fantastic, contemporary boutique hotel with New England décor on the beach in South Sands bay, just outside Salcombe. The restaurant terrace offers stunning views of the estuary. Delicious food with lots of local ingredients on the menu, especially the best hand picked Salcombe crab meat in the world, or fresh fish grilled to perfection.

One of the best local beaches. perfect for paddling, paddle boarding, surfing, or sand castle building! Tip-You can park for free if you are at the restaurant which makes life easier! They do a lovely afternoon tea, lunch and dinner. Booking is essential well in advance. Or get the ferry from Salcombe and sail across.
