In our mind, just the right size of a city - large enough to have all the amenities and conveniences of a big city like a well connected airport (3rd busiest in Germany), good public transport, services like Uber, cars haring, e-scooter and e-bike rentals etc. and English widely spoken, yet small enough for most of the city center to be very walkable and for many old traditions like the famous Düsseldorf carnival to remain well preserved. People in Düsseldorf are generally very open-minded, friendly and curious to learn about other cultures.
