The Newborn monument is the most recognizable symbol of the recently independent nation of Kosova. Its meaning is the New Born of a country. The Newborn monument was unveiled on 17/02/2008, the day of Kosova's independence. Every year, there's always a new design or theme with a meaning behind it.

The NEWBORN monument was placed when Kosovo had declared it's independence on February 17th, 2008. Every year on the independence day, the design & colour of this monument changes. This is done by volunteers and local artists, while the instructions on how to paint it are given by it's creator!
