Organic groceries (expensive, and lower priced than LA) with affordable, wonderful all organic produce (and fresh smoothies) presented by a consortium of local growers. This is what a living wage looks like to small farmers not supported by big Agra corporate subsidies.

Organic store food grown from the local Kern Family Farm. A little pricey but healthy fresh food.

The Gnarly Carrot is a family farm's local grocery with lots of delicious fresh foods and amazing smoothies. Definitely worth a visit.
