A beautiful palace near Bucharest, build in the 18th century, in a Romanian Architectural Style. It is build lakeside, in a beautiful park. It holds also restaurants, coffee bars, art exhibitions.

It is situated about 10 kilometres from Bucharest, it is the perfect location for a weekend outside Bucharest. If you want to escape from the crowded Bucharest and to relax for a walk on the lake then a favorite place is Mogosoaia Palace which is close to the capital. Here, besides the visit to the palace you can also visit Aulic Tradition Museum and you can also dine at the restaurant with traditional Romanian food which is situated in the park

Beautiful palace 20 minutes outside of Bucharest (accessible by "Maxi Taxi" from I think outside metro station 1 Mai, but please check). Very beautiful rural palace with a gorgeous garden and stunning lake views. There are a few sites in the town it's located in, as well as a very large park that is perfect for families to relax and play in for a few hours.

If your stay in Bucharest is longer and you have rented a car, then a visit to the Mogosoaia palace is a must. There you can find an amazing view over the lake, a nice park and a coffee-shop.
