Constructed in 1876, our lighthouse is definitely a must see attraction for visitors to the area. Located in Crow Head, it sits three hundred and thirty one feet above sea level! Stop by for a tour and take in the view, it will take your breath away, we promise! Pack a thermos, take a blanket, and experience the cliffs. If its a foggy day listen to the fog horn of the lighthouse, if its a clear summer day take some sunscreen, if its a spring day dress warm and count the icebergs, if its late summer whale watch. summer 2023 open 7 days a week

Long Point Lighthouse, one of the most photographed landmarks on the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland, is located at Crow Head, Twillingate. More than 300 feet above sea level, this is a lookout point where thousands of visitors every year enjoy the panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean with the possibility of viewing icebergs, whales, seals and sea birds. Once operated by several full-time lighthouse keepers, it guided ships safely on foggy and stormy nights. Today, the lighthouse is still operational but is now operated by only one lighthouse keeper year-round. Visit Long Point Centre where exhibits tell the stories of the culture and history of the people of Twillingate. Tours of the Lighthouse Tower are available

The views when you are at the edge of the world surrounded by ocean and spectacular rock formations, two stunning trails are just truly amazing. Sunsets here are God's most beautiful nightly work. From May on you will spot icebergs, and whales and on the road back to town, often you will see fox.
