East Berlin zoo. Biggest zoo in Europe. Great if you want to spend a day in nature. Three subway stops away on the U5

Very spacious zoo with a castle inside the vicinity, lots of animals on big pastures and currently an Icebear baby called 'Hertha' which attracts and overjoys especially the little ones. They have feedings on Sundays that one can attend and also a lot of fun events on the weekends. The website lists them in German and English
