A unique throwback to the time of Nasser. Dioramas of Egyptian life, animal mummies, and dilapidated statue garden. A hidden and strange jewel.

A rather off the beaten track museum. Run by the government, it closes by 2 pm, so a morning visit is recommended. Besides agriculture, the museum pavilions offer a wide array of collections, even ethnographic and ancient Egyptian ones. A great example of a meta-museum: what happens to a museum collection when noone updates it for decades. ;) Highly recommended!
