Cley is a fascinating place to visit if you enjoy bird and nature watching. There are some nice trails to wander along. The beach is a stony beach where you can find some very interesting stones. There is also a visitors centre with a coffee shop

Its lovely to visit Blickling Hall when the weather is good, to make the most of the park and lake. When the weather is cold or rainy is the best time to visit the hall.

It is surrounded by open fields and pleasant walks. The Potter Heigham reed beds have an abundance of wildlife and for there is a pleasant walk to the Hickling Nature reserve. The opposite side of the main road is where you will find shops and pubs as well as a cafe. There are 3 boatyards where there are choices of boats to hire. Norada Grill and Tavern is a lively pub with live music throughout the year. The Falgate pub is quiet and cosy. There are pleasant walks along the riverbanks. Depending on how energetic you are you can walk to Martham or Thurne, both of which have pubs to quench your thirst.
