Located 40 miles away from Lake Placid is the Wild Center. Good for families, seniors and everyone in between. Walk to the big bird nest and get a spectacular view of the mountains of the adk park. there is a restaurant and gift shop there.

Lazy ones fun kids cloths, adult sleep wear and boxers. You have to check them out. Tell them MaryKaye sent you. LP mugs, stickers, magnets, cards, shot glasses and tons of other great gifts. Stop in during your visit you won't be disappointed.
