There is also an excellent service that allows you to order special meals that you can finish off yourself. A great option if you want a dinner that you wouldn't want to have to prepare yourself but don't want to drive - so that you can relax and not worry about drink and driving.

The bioparc is set in ancient Tuffeau stone mines and really is unique - another of our family's favourites. Allow a good long time for this and take a picnic. Your ticket allows you to go in and out during your visit.
We often combine this with a visit to local Troglodyte (Cave) dwellings and restaurants...

Sightseeing
There is great rivalry between this chateau and that of Langeais - both claim to have been the source of inspiration for the castle in 'The Sleeping Beauty' but parking is easier at Ussé and you can also picnic by the river here.
