Take a guided kayak tour in this gentle bay, or hike trails through the pygmy and redwood forests. There are a couple of loops accessible up Little River Airport Road. You can also hike from the Pygmy all the way down to the beach.

One of our favorite coastal hikes. You can walk and take in the expansive scenery for 30 minutes, or a couple of hours. On the west side of HWY 1 there are two access points that you can take to a trail along the coast. Either park directly across from the Spring Ranch house and head toward the water, or pullout directly across from Gordon Lane. Either way, there are often few people on this trail. There is a small beach that is typically accessible, more so during low tide. There are often seals on the far north end of the trail, and sometimes to the south. Keep your eyes peeled for the resident coyote....
