30 minute drive to Riverton is definitely worth it. Great coffee, cakes, breakfast and brunch, but they also do awesome burgers and pizzas on Fri and Sat evenings.

This restaurant is close to the house, about 5 mins drive. They also have a courtesy coach that will pick you up and drop you off if you call ahead. We’ve found to be ok, the pub meals are fairly standard fare, the restaurant meals take a step up and the surroundings are nice, the food can vary here though. You can walk through to the pub, or shop at the bottle store - it’s the closest bottle store to the house.

We highly recommend this place for its fresh blue cod. It’s the best, and it’s consistently good. Also a great place for a drink inside on a chillier night.
