Probably my favourite place in the neighbourhood. It's a french bistro, located within a 5min walk from the apartment. They have fresh oysters for 1$ everyday from 4pm to 7pm! The place has a Parisian style decor, with red walls and iconic french actors and singers framed on every corner. It's an affordable place, if you are looking for a place to have lunch or dinner. If the weather is good, have your meal on their terasse!

Perfect place for a lazy brunch in the neighbourhood. Their coffee is awesome because you get to choose from a broad variety of coffee beans that come from different continents!

Stop by for a french pastry. From their lovely terasse (with outdoor couches!), you get a view of the Oratory Saint Joseph, which is literally within a 1min walk from this place

Probably one of the BEST vegan restaurant in Montreal. I use to go eat there at least once a week. Everything they serve you is "homemade", incredibly tasty and really affordable! Try their dragon sauce and the creamsicle smoothie....yummy!

Can't get more local than this. This is a street market that sells fruits and vegetables, flowers and apple syrup. It is within a 5min walk from the apartment and the stuff there is extremely affordable. I recommend 100%. Also, it stays open all night but I suggest you go there during the day to get the good stuff.

One of the coolest bars out there, super lovely with a lounge ambiance. They make neat drinks, serve cold cuts and oysters, the staff is very friendly and their terasse is just to die for. Totally recommended.

The most touristy street in Montreal, many restaurants and pubs. If you're looking for live music, go have a beer at Winston Churchill. Super chill place and bands, and free popcorn all the time! ;)

Just a chill neighbourhood bar, if you're bored and want to have a beer not to far from the apartment! Most often, this place is crowded and animated, but you always get a spot! :)

Bar on a Terrasse in the Old port of Montreal. Very nice view of the historical buildings and the Saint Lawrence River. Definitely go up there. Also, to get to the Terasse, you have to go through the Hotel Lobby, since the place is a Hotel :)

106 Rue Saint-Paul OBar on a Terrasse in the Old port of Montreal. Very nice view of the historical buildings and the Saint Lawrence River. Definitely go up there. Also, to get to the Terasse, you have to go through the Hotel Lobby, since the place is a Hotel :)
Parks & Nature
Huge Park that separates downtown Montreal from the east side. There's an iconic lake there called "Lac des Castors". Very nice place for a sunday walk, or if you're looking for a place to read on the grass! :) You can also walk up to the belvedere lookout, which gives you an amazing view of downtown Montreal.

You're lucky, one of Montreal's most famous landmark is just behind the apartment! ;) I often go sit on the stairs at night there, you get a view of the eastern part of the city and get some fresh air
