Something we love to do since the wait can be a bit long- Since our studio is only blocks away, we love to put our name on a waiting list and come back to the house to drink champagne! Why stand outside for an hour when you can relax at home and go back to the restaurant when you think youre table's ready?

Ankeny Tap and Table is a great place to go for Happy Hour (keep in mind this place is closed on Mondays)... They have great service, bottomless fries and a satisfying happy burger.

This is one of Val's favorite restaurants in Portland. Hey Love is Tropical themed and perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a lounge area off to the side with an indoor fire pit.

Sightseeing
Take the East Esplanade on a bike ride or walk for scenic views of the city and river! We suggest biking a loop beginning at the Hawthorne bridge and heading north to Steel Bridge (There's a bike and pedestrian pathway). From the Steel bridge, you'll take the waterfront bike path south back to the Hawthorne bridge.
Also suggested, taking the East Esplanade south via bike to Sellwood to grab beer or food in downtown Sellwood
For bike rentals and to support the community, we suggest using Spinlister instead of Biketown.
