This process took many years and included the removal of damaged materials, the creation of a proper foundation, and archeological digs around the property.

The Policeman's Creek Boardwalk is a short hiking trail and wooden boardwalk that follows Policeman's Creek. The Boardwalk is accessable from Downtown Canmore off Main Street near Spring Creek Drive. At the end of the trail cross the bridge into the Spring Creek community and follow the road back to Downtown Canmore.
