Rustic, old tavern. Open 7 days a week, and food is always delicious. Great raw bar on weekends. The 1846 Tavern used to be a stage coach stop back in the 1800's.

Really great pizza and calzones done in their brick oven. Popular place, so I recommend you call early so your order is ready when you want it. Panini, soups, fresh salads, and their sauce is made fresh daily. 802-464-5070

Elegant yet rustic inn on gorgeous grounds, food is always excellent. In the summer & early fall, you can dine outside on the lovely patio or lawn. There are several large firepits to sit by while you enjoy a beverage and the beautiful views. Indoors, the tavern side has a large bar (where we like to sit) along with tables and chairs, and there's also a large, beautiful dining room. One of the pricier restaurants in the area.

Mount Snow is a super place to visit no matter the season! It's a mountain resort and ski area in southern Vermont located in the Green Mountains. It is Vermont's closest big mountain to many northeast metropolitan areas.
In winter, Mount Snow offers a variety of activities and terrain including a two-mile long novice trail from the summit, 100 yard wide intermediate trails and the expert North Face that includes Ripcord, Mount Snow’s steepest trail and one of the steepest in New England. In summer, take the chairlift to the summit and then take in absolutely gorgeous views ~ reminiscent of scenes from "The Sound of Music." Year-round activities at the base of the mountain.
