202 W Center StValentina’s has online ordering (quick to pick up) as well as on-site outdoor dining. IMO it’s right up there with Franklin’s BBQ but without the crazy wait! Definitely get their brisket and flour tortillas. If it’s a Thursday, their stuffed burgers are amazing!

Must-go barbecue place for a lot of visitors. It’s a great space with a lot of room - but can get crowded too. If you want the experience or are heading out to Driftwood already, then definitely stop by. If not, Louie’s Craft BBQ and Valentina’s are closer slots with stellar food.

If you want the experience or are heading out to Driftwood already, then definitely stop by. If not, Louie’s Craft BBQ and Valentina’s are closer slots with stellar food.

State park nearby (online park reservations currently required) just a 20 min-ish drive from my house. Walking trails and a swimming spot make it a great park to visit! Picnic tables and small charcoal grills are out there too for use.
