McFee Reservoir is a big lake with long branching arms that each have unique and beautiful features. You can rent boats from the Marina or you can drive over to House Creek and picnic/swim in the lake. There are other roads and swimming access points along the different arms. House Creek happens to be an easily accessible one from Dolores.

Basic grocery store w/local pizza and deli. In the deli they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Salad bar, ice cream bar, and buffet dishes as well as made to order sandwiches and fresh pizza. Some things are great and normally priced, some things are not and overpriced. Avocados are always a great deal here. Note- check the expiration dates in the refrigerated section. Sometimes things are past due.

Pub style food. Lots of sandwiches, burgers, and more. Yummy ice cream, delicious onion rings and sweet potato fries, and good drinks from the bar. Used to be a bar for years, was recently remodeled into a restaurant.

Decent Mexican food. My favorite thing is the barbacoa tacos. Very fast service. If you want food in a hurry- this is the place!

Excellent coffee. The owner is a friend of ours. He used to be the master coffee roaster for Stumptown Coffee in Brookly, NY. The baby knows his coffee! This place is exceptional!
