Airplane Rock / Bear's Head Rock
One of the Hocking Hills best kept secrets! Be sure to wear your hiking boots and be prepared to get them muddy! Few people know about “Chapel Cave” (also known as “21 Horses Cave”) hiding in the Hocking Hills. It’s a hidden gem in the Hocking State Forest that you won’t find on any park or nature preserve maps, but you can find the trailhead less than 5 minutes away from the Conkle’s Hollow State Nature Preserve entrance in Rockbridge, Ohio. Please note: The trail leading to the cave is a bridle trail, so riding horseback is recommended. The trail can be hiked on foot, but it’s fairly strenuous and muddy, as you cross multiple creek beds along the way. If you hike the trail without a horse, we recommend doing so after several days of no rain. The cave can be difficult to find because it's not located within any specific park or nature preserve. You can access the trailhead at the parking area across the street from the Hocking Climbing and Rappelling Area, right off of Big Pine Road/St. Rt. 374. (And because it is a bridle trail, you'll likely see some explorers riding horseback.) The White Bridle Trail will lead you to the cave. On foot, it's about a 30-minute hike to the cave. If you're traveling horseback, it's about a 15-20 minute ride. Simply follow the white markings through the forest. Once you come to the white posts, you're about 5 minutes from the base of the hillside that the cave sits on. When you've reached the cave, you'll see a wooden fence and a canyon uphill to your right.

PHONE (740) 785-9900 LOCATION 123 North Broad Street Lancaster, OH 43130 We like to eat in the bar area...lots of windows overlooking Lancaster’s downtown parks! Family is the word which best describes our values and has been the bond of strength for our small town Bistro since its inception. Gathered around the dinner table, Mike Cotter and his family (Mom, Dad, Papaw, Nana, Sis, Aunt Jan, wife Heather and all the kids) discussed the nuances of his job as an executive chef and the dream of actually owning a restaurant. In summer of 2015 Mike, Mom, and Papaw made a pact to give it a go—Mom as financial officer and baker, Mike as restaurant manager and chef, and patriarch Clark, as chief taster, speculator, mascot, and most importantly, investor and believer. As head waitress relaying messages from the customers back to Mike, Heather—the strong wife—also held down the fort at home. We became better acquainted with our customers and community at the Bistro and through catering for many local businesses and events. The business grew as did the Bistro family—staff, farmers, sales reps, and repairmen, all working together to serve the finest, freshest, best tasting food to the Lancaster community—family. We moved from Main Street to Downtown in summer of 2018—celebrating our third year in business in September. Gathering more people into the family we have never felt more at home. We feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to serve our Lancaster community—our family. The 100-year-old building has been classically updated with new furnishings and modern television screens, while preserving the building’s original charm and character. Owners Billy and Lorena Smith wanted to give this historic building new life, including a bar that was actually built in the early 1900s for Lancaster’s Last Chance Saloon on Main Street. As previous owners of Lancaster’s popular Billy Crickets restaurant, the Smiths loved the rich history of the building and couldn’t wait to share their delicious and soulful pub fare with this eastside neighborhood.

Moonshine...need I say more!!! Store Hours Monday - Saturday: 11AM - 8PM Sunday: Closed Address 55 S Spring St. Logan, Ohio, 43138 Phone Call owner Brian at: (740) 347-9044 Our Story Brian St. Clair and Brother Eric started a moonshine distillery in the fall of 2015. They decided to turn back the clock to the prohibition era and produce corn liquor just like the bootleggers of that era. The St. Clair's produce a smooth tasting shine that satisfies even non-drinkers. The original recipe of 90 proof hits the spot but if you need a little more kick the new 120 proof, Buckeye Lightning, will curl your toes. The lightning will strike! Take A Tour Let our experienced and knowledgeable staff take you on a personal tour of our distillery. We are a family owned business and strive for complete customer satisfaction. The distillery boosts several original copper pot stills as well as other museum pieces on display. Walk back in time with artifacts from the St. Clair's 1800's farm. The St. Clair boys even salvaged an old grain bin that was their club house growing up. That "club house" is now a dividing wall that separates the retail room from the work area.
