The Tram is a popular destination for tourists, locals and people just looking to try something fun. The lower tram terminal is at the intersection of SW Moody Avenue & Gibbs Street --the most transportation-diverse intersection in the country. In addition to one of the nation's only aerial commuter trams, you'll see cars, buses, a streetcar, a soaring pedestrian bridge, a cycle track and the densest bike parking in America's #1 biking city. Bike valet is offered free to the public at Portland Aerial Tram Monday through Friday. Exiting the upper terminal you'll see the largest enclosed sky bridge in North America. Take a right to access an outdoor patio with seating and views of the terminal, the cityscape, the Willamette River and, on a clear day, Mount Hood and Mount St Helens. The upper terminal links to the 4T Trail--a self-guided tour by train, trail, tram and trolley. Much of Marquam Hill is a natural area with several trails.

Cover crop conversion to the Willamette Valley’s native grasses enhances the vineyard’s soil biodiversity. Carabella is a member of the Deep Roots Coalition; the well-drained volcanic soils have allowed 100% dry farming of the entire 59 planted acres. Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronco riding, Team Roping, Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Bull riding and so much more! In 1935, a group of local farmers and businessmen put their heads together to organize a rough and tumble Fourth of July celebration, and they put the word out that there was fun to be had and money to be won at the City Park in St. Paul Oregon. That first year fifty cowboys competed for a grand total of $500. From that humble beginning, the St. Paul Rodeo has become one of this nation's top rodeos with prize monies approaching $500,000, and nearly a thousand competitors. Its a small town authentic rodeo with a great Firework Show! PO BOX 175 ST. PAUL, OR 97137 1-800-237-5920

If you go downtown, you might want to stop in at Portland's Saturday Market (Tom McCall Waterfront Park Address: 2 SW Naito Pkwy, Portland, OR 97204) Sat 10am. It's a real taste of Portland - lots of vendors, but no veggies. Food carts, music, pottery - outdoor arts and crafts market.
