My favorite part of this 27 mile trail is by the Stevens Point water treatment plant. As you walk on one side is the woods and the other side is the river,It is so peaceful .

It is along the river in downtown Stevens Point. It has bandstands and buildings that can be rented out for parties. The boat landing is also there.
They hold free activity’s during the year. The most popular is Jazz fest. They bring in jazz bands from all over. The local college kids also play at this event . Bring you own chairs , drinks and food. Sit back and let the music flow. This happens Labor Day weekend , every year.
The park also has the 4 th of July fireworks during Riverfest. Which many bands and family friendly activity.
