Wildlife
The Caloundra and Pumicestone Passage area is home to a diverse range of wildlife in sea, air and land. Look out for birds, including sea birds such as pelicans and waders, and parrots such as lorikeets and corellas. Paddle a kayak or SUP between the mainland and Bribie Island and look for sting rays, sea cucumbers and fish.
A haven of nature. This location is great for swimming, fishing, paddling, bird watching, sting ray sighting, kite surfing, boating and jet skiing.
This is a world renowned Ramsar wetland, as part of Moreton Bay. It is an important and protected area as habitat for migrating sea birds.

Great little area for families - with a park and views across to the northern tip of Bribie Island. Watch, or join in with the surfers, paddle boarders and kayakers. On a good windy day you will see many colourful kites and some spectacular displays of kite surfing!
