An area of the Valkane beach, placed in a bay, is arranged for people with disabilities. One part of the beach is pebbly and it is ideal for families with kids, and the other part is paved so you can enjoy in sunbathing on your deck chair. The sports center Valkane is located near the beach and here you can entertain in many sports activities. In the vicinity of the beach, there are also many restaurants and bars, so the beach Valkane is an ideal choice if you decide to spend the entire day on the beach.

The Arch of Sergius (also referred to as the Golden Gate of Pula) commemorates the Sergii, one of the most influential families in the early Roman colony. The arch stood behind the original naval gate of the city and was paid for by the wife of Lepidus, Salvia Postuma. Their names are carved in the stone along with Lucius Sergius and Gaius Sergius. In its original form, statues of the two elders flanked Lepidus on both sides on the top of the arch.
